I'm looking at one of these for a Kidd Supergrade to make scope removal easier for cleaning.

Looking for feedback from the forum.

worked great on firearms now vanished on boat accidents and even some on a boat accident during ice fishing so cant tell actually how they are ...
 
I have an older PEPR mount and you will lose zero every time you take it off. Even with their 1/4 MOA guarantee I would suggest keeping your optics on instead of removing them constantly. No offense but I fail to see why you need to take optics off a rifle for regular cleaning.

I can see using it on an AR where you are shooting at larger targets but if you have a Kidd Super grade I'm assuming you are going for precision on small targets.

I'm going to give the Leupold medium (1") QR rings a test drive.

homer76. You're right. I am looking for accuracy and do realize I'm not going to hold zero but I need to take the scope off to access the rear screw to take the receiver out of the stock when cleaning. Getting back to zero isn't that much of a problem or that expensive with rimfire and I'm willing to deal with that.
