Could anyone enlighten me as to how these rifle scopes should be used or give me some information or user manual examples. I have search the internet and can't find anything on the Fullfield Dual Reticle rifle scope.
 
Ok thank you. They are complete lines below the cross hairs. Now I just have to figure out how to use this. I've sent Burris a query, but have not heard back.

Im pretty sure I owned that model back in the late 80's. It works by bracketing an object of known size (in this case 18 inches) using the scopes power ring. The 18" is supposed to represent the distance of an average deer brisket area (bottom of chest to begining of neck OR top of shoulders to the waist on a human type target).

Once you bracket the target, the reticle automatically adjusts to your compensated range point of aim. The problem is you have to hope that your cartridge happens to be calibrated to the way the scope reticle compensates for the range.
