Anyone use one of these scopes? Opinions/thoughts/real use? Pics? Used for hunting or target shooting? Thanks CGNers,

I get the concept and the nerdy side of me would lend itself to something like this but I vaguely remember someone else asking on here about these scopes and one of the site sponsors (possibly P&D?) who actually sells these products advised against getting one as there are better scopes out there in the same price range

With that sort of advice from someone who knows the product/competition I would be wary
 
I "looked" at one.

When I was looking for a scope for my 257 Wby the "glossy" on the scope sounded like it might be the ticket.

Anyhow, once I picked the thing up, even before looking through it and trying the features I "knew" I wasn't putting it on the rifle.

The thing weighs damn near 2 lbs (almost 31 oz).

So figured once I put it on an 8 1/2 pound rifle and then loaded it I would be carrying 11 pounds - no thanks...
