I was thinking about shooting the NSCC here at Connaught this summer. I have shot it in the past with my Shadow and done okay. I found out that the rules are being changed this year to allow slide mounted red dots that still fit in a holster; basically a reflex sight with the rear sight removed, or a purpose built gun with the sights and slot in the slide together. I really do not want to modify my gun, or spend the money, but I also do not want to be down 2 or 3 positions just because I do not have the toys the shooter beside me has (don't plan to win, but I would like to stay in the top 10).
The cheapest half decent reflex I can find is the Burris Fastfire, but they do not make an adapter for it for the CZ. Has anyone used any of the other adapters and modified them to fit? If I have to spend any more than that, I probably will not bother shooting it.
