Anyone have experience with these scopes? I am looking at the 3.5-10x50mm with illuminated ballistic plex for my custom rifle I'm building.

The rifle is a .264win mag 26" McGowen fluted Heavy Sporter barrel, Stevens Action, SSS trigger, Bell & Carlson fiber stock.

The rifles main purpose will be as a dedicated 0-600yd Deer rifle. I want a scope that has high light transmission 50-56mm Obj lens, illuminated recticle (ballistic style prefered) and is priced under $1000. My shots always come early minutes into legal light or moments before dusk so I favor the illuminated recticle for this one.

Are there any other scopes I should be looking at?

Was also thinking Leupold VX-3L with illuminated B&C??

I have a 3-9 Fullfield 30 European Great glass No complaints at all. Holds zero well.
These scopes are about as good as it gets for light transmission. I have no experiance with an illuminated reticle so can't offer an opinion there. Good luck

i'VE GOT THE SAME SCOPE EXCEPT THE 4A ILLUMINATED RETICLE ON A 300 WIN MAG SEEMS TO HOLD ZERO WELL & IS VERY BRIGHT ONLY THING I DON'T REALLY CARE FOR IS THE ILLUMINATED RETICLE IS EASY TO ACCIDENTALLY LEAVE ON BUT NOT REALLY A BIG CONCERN AS I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY USED IT ANYWAYS WHILE HUNTING THE PAST 2 SEASONS WITH IT

humm I have never handled one in person would you mind doing me a huge favor take a few pics and post them? so I can see how the illumination works? does yours have posi lock?
