Just purchased my first AR and have been looking at this scope. From what I'm looking to do, this scope fits the bill perfectly, and I like the option of being able to use it at longer distances, and close quarters.

Just wondering if anyone here has had some some experience with it?

Thanks in advance.......

Did you ever try it with the Fast Fire still mounted?

This is the part that is still making me wonder about purchasing it. How well can u transition, and how does the Fast Fire compare to a Red Dot on a rifle?

Don't like the dot. @ 100 yds. it completely covers a 4' target bullseye. good for 50yd's though. I'm old school I guess, I still prefer a duplex reticle for anything over 50

I have it on my xcr-l. I generally leave the optic at 4x as the dot is good out to about 100y imho. I find it strange when using the dot that because of how it is mounted you don't get a cheek weld. Your just head just hovers above the buttstock. I bought an offset mount for the fastfire but haven't used it yet.

I have seen one video where someone took the FastFire off the top of the sight and mouthed in on the 45deg side rail. Any thoughts on that solution?

Sounds like a good plan. I took mine off right away as I couldn't get a cheek weld with it, more of a chin weld if that. I am saving the FastFire for my next pistol purchase.
