Burris now has F-Class Scopes - and they look real good.

I'm learning all right skippy.
I'm learning there's a few characters that think a wee bit too much of themselves.

Stay with us and benefit? Huh? Why bother?

i think, after reading all the post, that you may be the only "too much" here. I know all the shooters that responded to your post and all are good guys without any bad intentions. Dont forget that in a forum, perception of intentions can be difficult to identify. I can assure that all comments above were constructive and reflect the evalutation of the product made by shooter who have proper experience to compare from.

Now what you decide to "give and take", is up to you, and you dont bother...then why ask a question on a forum if you are not ready for the answer ???

They answered your questions and gave honest opinions. Sorry you didn't like the outcome. Doesn't mean you shouldn't buy one! They look pretty decent to me.

Trust me when I say these guys are not being negative towards you at all. These guys really really know thier stuff when it comes to this kind of thing. They are merely telling you some facts and opinions and trying to help benefit your shooting knowledge. I enjoy threads like this because I've learnt more info in this thread about scope Windage an elevation than I have in the whole month.

Take it with a pinch of salt mate :) they mean no offence.

The scope is nice. I would like to put them up against sightrons and see what happens. Then again, I'm not a F class shooter. So some of the points made here are over my head a little.

However, if the glass is good, it's had reliable tracking and is at a good price. Count me in for trying one :)

Can someone explain the SKIPPY part?

I think he was implying that someone was telling him something and most of the time, the kid who talked to a kangaroo always listened (took note of) what he said was wrong. Like lassie.

"Skippy" is used here to demean the correspondent's experience level. To give the impression the person has little to offer experience wise. Just a kid with unimportant/unwarranted opinions.

That being said... the following is the conclusion you would reach if you followed "Skippy's" advice...Stay with us and benefit? Huh? Why bother?

There goes my theory.....

Dammit lol.

Not much of an F class scope. I do like the look of the 5-25x50 as an LR hunting scope, would need a new ballistic calculator though.

LOL I just come for the witty repartee:D Guys sure can get their poop in a knot quickly here! A general rule of mine is to never ask a question I don't really want the answer to. Knowledgeable guys please keep the advice coming!
