Yeah, looking to see if anyone here has a review [actual use] of the Burris Droptine .22lr 3-9x40mm scope with ballistic plex reticle. Item # 200019.

Ha,ha.... yeah probably a great review if only I spoke the lingo.... I actually already did the Google search & saw the other Youtube vids... thanks for your effort(s), though.....

Still interested to hear from anyone HERE on CGN who may have a review of the scope, from their own personal use/experience. There must've been a number of them sold here in Canada already [this thread is over 5 yrs old!]

I've mounted the Prevail Ballistic Plex onto the Model Seven 308,
Previous owner of gun rekons 'Ya need a good scope or it will get the guts knocked out of it"... By the Model Seven.....

So far I've put a good 20-30 shots through the scope and No drama . Holding zero and tracking well.

I'm a fan of the B Plex reticle!
I'm a fan of this Burris.

An all the Full field, prevail or Droptine would suit my needs as a 300m hunting scope. Maybe even 400m would be fine

I had the droptine 3-9x40 Rimfire scope on a 22 with Burris medium QD rings. Perfect height for me and kept zero even after removing and replacing.
Glass is clear and the BDC reticle is nice - useful but uncluttered.
The holdovers worked pretty well for me with a 50yd zero - each holdover would represent a further 25yd POI - I was able to get pretty accurate shots between 25 and 100yds - good enough for plinking shotgun shells at 100yds on the fly.

Edit: I believe that was with standard velocity rounds

Glass was nice and clear, build quality is good and solid. A good looking scope, not too bulky but it’s got substance. The magnification ring is forward of the eye focus adjustment so can use scope caps happily without them interfering.

I sold it recently only because I wanted a little more magnification for when I’m at the range, but to be honest as a hunting/general purpose .22 scope I think it’s hard to beat.

I also like Burris’ reticle options; Bplex, BDC, E1 etc. and find Burris scopes pretty much the best quality for the price.

Having said that, I’ve just bought a Riton for my hunting rifle and have to say that so far - only one outing - i’m impressed
