I've had a bit of any issue with my Burris zee rings with the plastic inserts. The scope slid a bit with each shot. When I got home and checked screws they were tight and so was the scope. The only thing I can figure is that when I was out in cold weather -15C the plastic shrunk ever so slightly as to allow the scope to slip and when I got back into the warm house they expanded and were tight again. This is the first time I've tried these rings in cold weather.
Has anyone had a similar experience with these rings and if so what did you do to resolve it ? I've mounted dozens of scopes in the past with no worries but this is the first time with this type of ring in cold weather.
