BURRIS SCOPE

You are not Correct 🫣 They are Totally Legal to use to Hunt any game in BC as per the BC s Conservation Services 👍 😀

Now “ Thermal “ capabilities of any kind are illegal such as as you use on VCI 🤪

yeah, the electronic aiming device in the regs referrs to a tracking optic that engages the trigger, going to get one of them for silhouette........

VCI???? we us high beams and magnums behind locked gates, thermals on the water, tis the wild west down here

Thermals or night vision is illegal in BC? Just for hunting or?
Hunting in BC is permitted from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.

Using thermal imaging sights or infrared optics for hunting is prohibited in British Columbia, IIRC.

Whatever that means ? I don't know if one can use thermal/infrared optics (detached from a gun) for game observation during the hunt. Never ran into that problem...

If you had a thermal with you, you are using it for hunting.
I don’t recall anything in the regs saying it has to be mounted to a gun.

In regards to the Eliminator 6 it’s a very compelling bit of kit but given the price point and a previous experience with a mounted range finder I’ve kept my hunting optics electronics down to a Firedot on one rifle.
Most electronics don’t like the cold, I had a Leupold range finder mounted to my bow one year and when I needed it in -10 it just didn’t work.
I noticed that the Sig integrated ranging scopes don’t seem to like the cold either by their specifications anyway and likely wouldn’t work in the weather I have found myself in the odd time.
The Burris specs show that it likely wouldn’t be an issue but if their specs are optimistic marketing that’s a lot of bucks out the window…
Still, if I win the lottery, lol

I wouldn't want these on all my rifles either, but the principle of wanting one of everything would definitely include one of these.
