I've run into a problem with the adjustment of the Hunter Knobs for elevation and windage. According to instructions, you should be able to sight the scope and then move the dial so that the zero is lined up with the positioning line on the body.
The problem that I have is with the instruction in the manual as follows: "Like target knobs, the dial can be reset to zero once sighted-in simply by inserting a knife or small screwdriver in the dial slot and rotating".
My experience with scopes where this is possible have set screws that allow the dial to be rotated without affecting the adjustment. The target knobs on the Burris do in fact have set screws to accomplish this. There are no set screws on the Hunter Knobs.
Hope that someone has run across this in the past and can help me. Otherwise, I'll just send an e-mail to Burris for clarification.
Thanks,

I did contact Burris regarding the procedure to zero the scale and they informed me that their procedure was correct and complete. Upon a careful examination of the dial, I saw a small slot on the scale itself - not the main one on top of the dial. By holding firmly the adjustment knob to prevent it from rotating, it is possible to rotate the scale (friction fit) until the zero lines up with the mark.
One must make sure that when doing this procedure that the main adjustment knob is not allowed to rotate, otherwise your sighting will be affected.
