Burris Supreme scope base - where are the rings?

Howdy, all.


Buddy of mine has a Husqvarna Mauser with an older Burris base and rings setup. Just got the scope and rings off using brute force and bad language. Resulting mess looks like so:



Pretty grotty, but should clean up.

Question: Will current Burris rings (as sold by Canada Brass - click here) fit this now ancient base setup?

Burris, Redfield or Leupold should fit after a clean up.

Next question - Burris, Crimson Trace, or Vortex scope? Buddy's too cheap for Leupold, and wants to keep his kidneys so Zeiss is off the table...

Yes. If he wants new I would look at the Burris. All the same style Leupold, Burris and Redfield rings will fit. - dan

What is the rifle chambered in?
Something kicky I like 4" eye relief.
