you smuggled it across the boarder? i tried to order from opticplanet and they cancelled my order like Advan. i think im going to give up on this scope, been looking at the vortex crossfire and diamondback
 
i actually got it from http://www.sportsmans-depot.com/, free shipping to border then just do the whole declaration thingy and all you pay is taxes when you pick it up. Every border has a Post office near by and i just ship it to them.

optics planet wouldn't ship it.

if you do get international shipping ups charges $50 brokerage plus another $25 for shipping.

cost me $150 for scope

usually when i go to get a package across border i grab a pack of smokes and if its open you don't pay duty, and 66ers or cases of beer are $12 at duty free.

Saved over a hundred on scope plus with money i saved I got a deck of smokes 2x 66oz hard stuff and 1 case MGD cans and paid for gas.

i send a lot of packages to border now.
 
be careful you needed an export permit for the timberline to get it out of the US and an import permit to get it into canada.

UPS and fedex are a rip off for customs, with USPS theres only a 5 dollar fix fee for customs.
 
a permit??? okay Ive purchased guns bullets powder and optics in duluth MN, all with no permits or papers ( except for pal with the rifle), is this just a burris permit? i have no clue what you are talking about bud
