Burris vs Leupold

At least 50%, if not more, of newer Leupolds I have had have failed. Never had a Vortex, Burris, or Swaro fail me. I've sold off all of my Leupolds. I'd take Burris over Leupold any day.

I have a Burris that has been rock-solid for 15 years, a FullField II 3-9x. Solid scope, but nothing fancy. I've got a bunch of Leupold and Vortex as well, and no scope failures on any of them. Come to think of it, I've got a pair of knock-off scopes (Optex branded), both fixed, that are still as good as they were when I bought them.

I'm not sure who handles Burris warranty work in Canada, but Leupold as mentioned has a warranty center in Canada which might be favourable.

I think Stoeger Canada in Oshawa Ontario handles Burris warranty along with Beretta, Benelli, Franchi, Sako, Tikka, Steiner and a few others. I have heard mixed reviews of their customer service.

I’ve had excellent customer service from that location but it wasn’t for scopes.
