Burris vs. Leupold

Hey everyone,

I need your advice for optics on a new Savage 110 BA in .338 Lapua. I've only ever owned a Leupold Mk 4 for long range shooting, but I was suggested the Burris Black Diamond 4-16x50. I have no experience with the Burris brand, any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated! This gun will be used primarily at distances of 500 - 700 yards.

I guess I should have stated originally that I'm on a budget this time around. As much as I'd love to buy a Nightforce, it's just not in the cards right now. I've ready pretty much all fantastic reviews about the Burris online, that's why I thought it would be a good buy for the time being, but am worried about people saying the quality control isn't the same on here. Is there something else in the $600 - $800 range that would be better than the Burris? I was looking at the Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 as well. Any thoughts?
 
go to business members forum find optics specailist, Plain sight solutions look thru, find the zeiss or swaro on sale, don't look back, better than either you were looking at.
