Burris are great value and the warranty with them has been easy when I needed it. I prefer the older Fullfield II to the newer IV line as on full magnification at 100 yards, I found the crosshairs against the target clarity/focus not as good as the FF II to my old eyes. YMMV. FF II 3-9x40 vs FF IV 2.5-10x42.

Yeah, at full mag you really need to get your relief and eye posish just right. I have two 2.5-10x scopes.

However, I generally never set them beyond 6-7, so that's not a problem as much. I do like the lower low mag setting though.
