Burris XTR with fastfire

has anyone experience with this set up? Looking to get it,..just have been waiting for reply for a while. It is the .223 short scope fastfire mounted on the front ring.

apparently this is not available in Canada.
Might go with a Bushnell 42-1424 1.5x4 -24mm,..and try and get a mount offset for the red dot.

I just ordered the xtr 14 from Wolverine the other day. I'm not sure if the fastfire combo is available here but I,m sure that you can buy it and the rings separately. Personally I think the fastfire is a little overkill with the 1x scope although I could be wrong as I haven't tried it out yet.

The fast fire is availavble from Elwood Epps for 199.00. Beware the supplied mounts fit picitinny rails fine but don't fit weaver mounts well at all.

I realize this post is old, but rather than start a new thread, I'm wondering if anyone whom has purchased one of these has any reviews?

Personally I don't see the point if you already have a 1-4 on the rifle. As for reviews, never used one, but saw one at TSE, they look pretty tiny.
