Hello all!!

I just bought a Burris XTS 135 speed dot. I had a close look at it and for the money spent I am quite impressed. I think this will fill the gap between low cost red dot junk, and aimponts etc.

It even came with a ring, but its a tad low.

Could some one direct me too where I might be able to either find a higher one or offer another alternative.

Apprecait you time.

regard and all the best

Any 30mm ring will work. I would suggest getting one of the burris tactical rings or something similar as the cheapo rings don't do a very good job when you can only use one. (I know from experience)

Mr. Chrisward3:

I will give them a call, I forgot that they carry some fo the burris line.

Im also looking at some of the mounts provided by 1337Tactical. If its quality, something like this might work well.

I kind of like the first one there if you wanted to order from them. It may be a little high tho, I have a "low" ring on my scout mounted CZ-858 and it's nice.

The problem with single rings is that the ring itself can pivot a little bit on the base. The Burris rings and other tactical rings get around that by having a longer clamp, so it has more contact area with the base.
