Bushing Die

Quick question. I purchased a type S bushing die set for my 223. I plan to use it for reloading my match lapua cases. Question is... Do I still use the size button? Seems to me by selecting a specific bushing shouldn't the button be irrelevant.

If you dont want to use the expander ball make sure your necks are all the same thickness by skim turning them for better results.

The die should have come with an expander ball retainer and then a smaller retainer that will not expand the neck.

Don't use the button with quality brass.

I get best results with a bushing 3 thou smaller than the OD of the neck with a seated bullet.
