Did you shoot the heck out of it? I noticed mine had some play as well after getting the barrel very hot from 60 rounds in quick succession.

Yea I would say I shot the Heck out of it, about 200 rounds in a little over an hour
Does the play have any potential to cause a problem in future shooting ?

I haven't had a problem with mine, remember as metal heats up it expands and becomes malleable to a small degree. Once my barrel cooled down and was left overnight the wobble was gone. Does it have any play in it right now?

That was my first guess but, it still has play in it now, and it's been days since I've shot it

Can you move the pins securing the gas block to the barrel freely with your fingers?

Looks like the pins are secured in placed

If the pins won't budge I'd say it should be alright. I noticed the same thing with mine and haven't noticed any problems.

Hey there again, made it home for a weekend and pulled the barrel and double checked the gas block. It does have a slight amount of play in it, but I am nearing the 1k count with my rifle and I haven't had anything even resembling a malfunction as of yet so I'd say you're good to go.
