Bushmaster ACR in 308 win a possiblity ?

Ive currently eye balling the Bushmaster ACR. I am aware that if you want one NR you have to have it rebarreled and that It is possible to have it rebarreled in 300 blackout.

However I would rather have one in .308 , of course this would require a bigger bolt face and magazine. Has anyone heard of an AR10 style bushmaster in the works ? Or of any way one could be converted ?

To convert to 300 all you need is to swap the barrel. 308 will never happen in the current ACR. I remember hearing something about Magpul plans when they owned the design for a 308 platform.

The Bushy ACR is based on the original Magpul Masada, originally unveiled at SHOT 2007.
A year or two later, Magpul had a .308 version they called the Massoud.

Interesting link ... I was not aware that the ACR was a variant. This gives me a bit of hope , Might have to be patient ... I feel like an ACR in .308 win is inevitable, although possibly a couple years away.
