Bushmaster E2S V-Match Carbine

I just got a slightly used one for a great price ($650.00 US...delivered and Bradied) and am not up to speed regarding AR 15 clones. I had an early Colt SP-1 many years ago, but got rid of it.

My main question is what sights to install, as I never rely only on optics. The gun came with a good scope mount set, and I have a drawer full of take-off scopes saved from countless trades over many years. The AR has the heavy barrel and no place to mount anything at the gas block.

Suggestions ARE appreciated.

Looks like you made a nice score! Wish our prices for ARs were that cheap up here! Since you've already got the rings and scope, I'd stick with that for this rifle. It really wasn't intended to be used with iron sights.

I bought my AR15 SP1 for $995, and it was hard to tell it had ever been fired. It was a 1962 rifle.
