Haha. I will never leave behind the wood! I just thought these were damn neat guns, and I have yet to have a true black rifle. Plus I'm just too damn cheap to fire $1 a round ammo. $.50 is better :D

Awesome toilet! You got a good buy. I dig the colour. However the lack of a tactical picatiny flush handle sucks though. Dont forget to get K&M mount you a mil spec toilet paper dispenser.

Haha. Toilet no included... hopefully. Would be a b!tch to ship.

She'll end up looking like this, but not black and obviously with the regular length barrel. Love the look of the dual small slots.

Baby steps by the end of tomorrow you'll be painting all your wood stocks black :)

I can guarantee that will not happen. I very much like wood, and would never trade it for anything else. However, this gun will be hella' fun, and with 3 of the magazines-that-shall-not-be-named coming my way, it should be a real looker at the range.

Unique! Haven't seen one with the receiver cut out like that. You will enjoy it. I have a 1-4x Bushnell AR Illuminated optic on mine now. Great combo.

I'm stoked! It's a special slot pattern. I love the look of the G36 and FAL hand-guard slot patterns, and thought it would look great, and it does! The flat front was ordered so I could put my own machining skills to work and design and add a forward section to potentially add some extra rails and to lengthen the sight radius. I got a Vortex SPARC and Magpul BUIS waiting here. Plus 1 LAR mag and 3 PCV mags and 500 rounds of .223 to start. Should be fun!

I totally didn't realize the flat front was done. Something was different but I couldn't figure it out. There is a lot of room to customize these rifles. I think they were introduced too soon for a market that wasn't quite ready for the current customizing trends. The aluminum upper lends itself well to machining and other attachment upgrades.

If they did another run of these rifles and came from the factory looking like that, it would do well in today's market.

I don't know much about them. But if they were threaded 1/2x28 and could somehow accept some AR accessories (grip, etc) that would be a huge bonus because some after market parts would already exist.

Would it need a new FRT? Sorry for the noob question.

Yup. Ken at K&M said that he should have his new version to Irunguns by the end of the month so they can get it submitted for RCMP approval. Hopefully it will be deemed a variant of the M17S and thus sail cleanly through the approval process.

Do you think they'll make one with an 18.5" barrel to keep it off the restricted list? Would be nice...
