This deal is just insane. But for those doing the math, keep in mind, the rebate is after taxes. so you'll pay tax on the full price (which is still insane on its own) then the rebate comes later.

For the gun without optic after tax and shipping for a person in ontario, less the discount, final all in price would be $708.80

As you can see, although 1-8 twist will work for 55gr (it's not mentioned, but it'll still shoot), it will not be very accurate as 1-8 is optimal for 75-77gr. 55gr will not have the stability needed for accurate medium-long range shooting out of a 1-8 barrel.
