Bushmaster XM-15 Prices?

I want to sell my Bushmaster XM-15. Bought it in 2005. With 2k through it. Its an:


XM-15
A2 Fixed Stock
Flat top upper
Heavy Bbl.
1 5rnd mag
1 Milspec cleaning kit complete
2k through it
well maintained


What is a reasonable asking price? and expect to get?

Seriously, no one has a price they have either:

a. bought a XM or AR for.

or

B. what they have sold one for?

A brand new one of those is $1,330 at Ellwood Epps. You need to subtract a few hundred dollars from that.

When I bought my Bushmaster AR-15A3 16" HBAR/collapable stock in 2004 I paid about $1,899.00 NIB. Colt M4's where also in stock for $2,099.00.

Now you can get a NIB Bushmaster for dirt cheap, $1,400.00 around, and Colt's are nowhere to be found

if you have a barrel shorter than 16" threaded for flash suppressor, you can usually ask more, since all the new rifles come with muzzle brake and they have to be longer than 16".
