Bushnel trs-25 or vortex strikefire?

I've now shot my 870 with both, they both stood up to a couple of boxes of target loads, and a couple dozen 00 buck. I like to look through the TRS-25, the Sparc looks cooler, neither are Aimpoints, both get some bad press, both get quite a bit of good press, Vortex=lifetime warranty, the Bushnell sits lower on the receiver.

If I had to pick for a shotgun, I'd say Vortex for the warranty; on all my other firearms I liked the TRS better.

I don't trust electronics on a scattergun, I just use the bead.

I have a TRS on my CZ858. Excellent sight. I like the way that it doesn't get accidentally turned on. Incredible battery life for the money. I have a SPARC on my CSA VZ58. Definitely sits higher. One little bump on the side and it turns on accidentally. Easier to find batteries for the TRS and they usually are cheaper than the batteries for the SPARC. Some reports say that the SPARC is better in the nasty elements outside, but I have not seen anything to prove that myself yet. All in all, I like them both.

My TRS leaked.Got all fogged up second day of use on a rifle course. My SPARC ran fine on my other rifle (but wasn't subject to as much rain). So I bought another one of each to use. TRS-25 mounts nice other then the body touchs the picatinny rail front and rear on my NEA upper handguard. Gotta file them down a bit to reduce the interference.

I have 2 of the TRS-25 and a Sparc and like them both , as others have said the Sparc is a bit better and larger diameter optic but it costs more money .
The Sparc comes with the different sized bases as well as a 2x mutiplier which I dont care for.

I have nothing but good things to say about my TRS. Had it on my SKS on a scout mount for a few hundred rounds with no trouble whatsoever. Even took a few ejected casings and held up fine. I never abused it, but it did spend a week tromping through the bush with me, and a few days the entire rifle was drenched in water, and the Bushnell had no problems with fogging.

Another member has it now and he seemed happy with it.
