Bushnell 1-4x24 question

Hey guys i recently bought a tavor and it came with a red dot with magnifier. its a good red dot but i really dont like the magnifier as it gives you a very small picture. so decided to go with a 1-4x24 and like the looks of the bushnell and its price. my question is to anyone who owned or used it what do they think? im looking at one with btr reticle. reason im asking is none of shops in my area have them and kinda leery on buying glass that i dont get to hold and look through.

I have that exact scope on my xcr and its built good, throw lever is great, reticle is great but the glass sucks. I paid $300 and dont think its worth it but thats just me. Id also sooner go with a 1-6 or 1-8...that little extra magnification would be nice for smaller targets past 100 yards and shooting for groups at 100 yards. Mine will soon be going up for sale when I find something else with better glass.

ya was concerned on the glass quality, nikkon makes a similar scope and i do like the .22 scope i have from them, might just save up fora vortex. love my diamondback on the m305.
