Bushnell 3200 Elite any good?

WAIT!!!

Go look through a Zeiss Conquest 3-9 , and compare it to the 3200. Still nothing wrong wit the 3200 but I know you will like the Zeiss, the optics will sell itself. ;)

ya, but at 2X the price, is it any wonder? really, the conquest is priced between the 4200 and 6500 stuff. and yes the optics are great and the rapid-z reticle is superb.

I have 3200 3-9x40 with raiguard for 3 years on my rem 700BDL in .300 win mag. No complains, affordable price (now under $200), considering to buy one more, why to axperimenting with something new...well, there is some very expensive tubes, but do not put zeiss worth $3000 on gun that costs $500...

The 3200 series is a great scope for the money. The bone collector series are actually 3200 as well. They offer 91% light transfer and the reticle spring is screwed and glued. Rain guard is good but it does ware off, it is basically a coating like rain x for your windshields that helps close the pours on glass to cause water or moisture to bead and not stick. The 4200 series has 2 additional internal lenses which up the light transfer to about 94% and the reticle spring is also screwed and glued. Both are rated for 5000 rounds of heavy recoil. The 6500 series has again another 2 additional lenses which up the weight but increase the light transfer to about 98% and the reticle spring is mounted in a well so it is by far superior in strength. It is rated for 10,000 rounds of heavy recoil. The only down side for Bushnell is they have many lines all with lifetime warranty including crap like the tasco, simmons and other products like bino's, trail cams, spotting scopes and they only have 3 technicians here in Canada for repairing all of their products so it is a minimum of 3 months before they will even start on any repair work that is needed to be done.
Leupold is far superior in its testing and construction plus there warranty has a 2 week guarantee and its back in your hands. They are American made as well.
