bushnell 4200 6-24X50mm

I am considering buying a bushnell 4200 6-24X50mm scope and am wondering what owners of this scope think of it. Also does anybody know of any retailers that stock this scope?

Have one. Like it a lot. Also have 6x24 40mm Elite 4200 and very happy with it also.

Great glass, at least as far as I have used it which is out to 700m. The one and only drawback for me is that the reticle lines are a little thicker than I'd like.

Is the 6-24x50 only available with mil-dot recticle?

i'm thinking of buying this too for my remington 700 VTR in .223 for paper punching.

I have the 6-24x50T... it has 30mm tubes...

I shoot it on a .223Rem Savage...

Optics are great... the box test is perfect as far as coming back to zero... but it adjusts about 10% further than you want... ie if you dial 10MOA you get about 11... but if you know this (and I hear this is common with many Bushnell products)... it's easy to overcome...

I shot it out to 900 yds... and it runs out of elevation (total 50MOA), but the mildot reticle allows for good hold over opportunities... but I have a tapered base coming for next time...

Overall... I like it...
