Situation, I mounted the scope (Elite 4200 6x24x50) on a new rifle. At the end of the 'up' travel, I am at 0 = 100m. How do I reset this thing, I'm guessing it has something to do with the nut on top of the elevation turret. Thanks
The hex screw at the top is to reset the turret to zero. If you are at the end of the travel it won't help you. Your scope only has about 45 minutes of elevation total. I owned one for a couple months, then kicked it to the curb. If you are maxed out in elevation to get sighted at 100 yards you need either a 20 MOA rail, Burris rings with offset inserts or a scope with some adjustment.
