I have the 2.5-16x42 mil-dot model on a Savage 112 BVSS 300wm. I haven't had a chance to try the scope at the range yet - still too much snow! However, so far, here's what I like:
Clear optics - about as good as my Conquest 3-9x40 but not as clear as IOR 3-18x42 or Swarovski Z6 1.7-10x42.
Great eye relief - almost 4".
Fast focus eye piece.
Covered and pull-out turrets. Good for long-range hunting.
Side focus works well and is clear almost throughout zoom range.
What I don't like:
More critical for eye placement than the Conquest.
Reticle turns gold when looking at fluorescent light!
