I tried consulting the oracle but found only vague descriptions at south of the border retailers, all were out of stock. Anyone have any info at all on this optic? AR71824I Bushnell AR optics 1-8x24 illum. BTR2 reticle? Surely someone on here saw one at shot show?

Right?!? If it’s FFP like the throw down it will sell like crazy. Even if it’s not I want one. Just have literally no info on it at all other than it’s the BTR-2 IR reticle.

Looked through several articles and YouTube vids on Bushnell at SHOT 2018 and there was no mention of this scope. The new red dots they announced at SHOT are estimated to release in June.
Hopefully the Canadian price before rebate gets lower than $560. The American listings I've found for it are $320-350USD, which converts to $405-443CAD. (All listed as no stock, vague details, no photos)

I found this Shot 18 write up that mentions the 1-8x and a June release.
Also revamped this year is the product line of AR optics. [...] They offer a 1-4, a 1-8 (available in June), and higher powered optics as well.
The new AR optics line in the 2018 catalog .pdf sure does look nice way nicer than the older ones, I wonder if there are any improvements other than aesthetics as maybe I'll grab another 1-4 illuminated if the 1-8 won't be available during the rebate period. Maybe we can get it as a pre-order, those always go well. ROFL
I emailed my local dealer yesterday and got a similar answer...He has them on order but has been told they won't be released in Canada until June.
