Bushnell AR series

The first is second and the second is first, so which one is it?

The 1-4 throw down is a $279 scope retail, but it appears they're going for $350 on the EE. Even after HST, that's still $34 more. How does stuff appreciate so much on the EE ??

Which scope are you talking about? Are you talking about this one? http://www.shopbushnell.com/detail/BSN+AR91424

Or are you talking about this one? http://www.shopbushnell.com/detail/BSN+AR91424I

The first one has a MSRP of $280, but it does not have the Throw Down Lever. And it's Second Focal Plane.
The second one is the one with the Throw Down, and it's First Focal Plane, but its MSRP is over $400.

Where are you seeing a Bushnell AR 1-4 Throw Down for $279?? I'd like to order one.
Could you show me the one on EE for $350? I might even order that one!

I have a savage 10-tr and was going to use it this year for deer hunting, future use will be longer range target. Are any of these scopes good enough for deer hunting out to say 200 yards? Thanks Bob
I am looking for a descent scope for $400 or less!

Don't let him close with those antlers...

Hi Bob,
The scopes under discussion here are designed for use against an entirely different species, but could be used to hunt deer.
Personally, I'd prefer something more like the typical 3-9x40, since deer are less likely to be engaging in CQB. :)

Everyone here is missing the better option. The Nikon m223 series is what I bought after researching all the "affordable" 1-4's. Way better glass and far better construction and quality. No illumination but common... How many guys putting these on ARs are shooting in the dark? Nikon has never disappointed me yet.

Yeah that's the one. They're more face to face people than internet store. Give 'em a call. Their prices are usually pretty good. If you're on the west coast, try plain sight solutions. They're good too.
