Bushnell AR22 vs Redfield Tac 22

Weighing pros and cons between these two scopes and was hoping to hear from people who own them. I'm looking to mount it on a CZ 453 Varmint which will see bench and field. I'm curious about the tracking on the turrets (box test) and how the adjustable parallax vs preset has been working for people. I've been shooting 200+ yards with my .22 so keep that in mind. I'm not planning on sighting it in and just leaving it alone. So a normal NCstar/Tasco isn't gonna do it for me. I'm currently running a Bushnell Elite tactical 10x40 on the rifle but obviously it's over scoped and the preset 100 yard parallax isn't the best for a rimfire.

If you want the TAC 22 I have one in my safe with no gun for it I can sell you. Comes with a Burris PEPR and flip caps as well. Pm if interested.

had it on my SR-22 for a few months.. sold the SR-22.. it's been sitting since. it's a great scope for sure. I wanted it the moment it was announced.. I had to have it, it was probably one of the first ones brought into Canada. it's just to heavy to transfer to my S&W M&P 15-22. I went with a red dot.

I have the Bushnell AR 2-7 on a Ruger 10/22. I purchased it because it has a BDC reticule for 22 rimfire hold over at different ranges and a side parallax adjustment which is not usually available on a cheaper scopes. I also purchased a Bushnell AR 4.5-18 scope at the same time and have been very pleased with both scopes.
 
I actually did a side by side comparison at a LGS recently. Both were nice, but i found the Redfield to be a bit more forgiving with longer eye relief and a bit brighter picture, if that matters to you. I think the AR22 compromises there in order to give you that side parallax adjustment.

If I was shooting 30 to 100 yards all the time, then I think AO is a waste of money on a 22lr and would simply get a fixed parallax at 50 yards like the Redfield. If going as short as 10 yards and as far as 200 yards, get something with parallax adjustment like the AR22. But I would want brighter, better glass than the Bushnell for shooting longer distances. That's why I bought a Nikon Target EFR for my Savage. The Bushnell AR22 doesn't even come close to that one for clarity and light throughput.
