Bushnell Banner 6-18X50 Thoughts????

Just as the title says...Im looking at getting a Banner 6-18X50 for my Savage FVSR which will be only used for benchresting. right now it wears a Barska 8-32X44 IL.

I know I know not the best of scopes...do you think I should sell my Barska and get a the Banner instead...I know I will be sacrificing some magnification but I think Im getting a way better scope.

Input please!
 
The Banner line don't have outstanding glass but they are serviceable scopes that are quite durable. I would take a Banner over a Barska any day.

Thanks I have one also. I think it's a pretty great scope for the money. I think you would be hard pressed to get twice the scope for twice the money. Meaning you would have to pay more then twice the amount to get a better scope. Have it mounted on my CZ 455 17hmr.
 
I had one of those $100 Tasco World Class on my T-Bolt and finally got frustrated with it.
Bawt a Leupold VX II 3x9-40 and put it up there.
Less hankie pankie with the AO and the parallax can cause issues, but nice and clear with
less finnagli'n for now.
 
The one on the right is a Trophy 6x18-40 with the AO.
Has target turrets on it.
A few notches up from the Banner, but well worth the kerch$ng.
Bawt it years ago from Elk Ridge down south before all this x-border nonsense.
It is a great scope for where it's sitting.
With the yo yo dave trigger kit in that 'merican, dang accuracy serprizes me..............:rockOn:

awesome..just came back from lebaron and picked up the banner with some leupold rings..I'll post pics in a bit!

A rifle that I recently purchased came with a 6-18x40 Banner mounted. The scope seemed to be typical for the price, as far as clarity and brightness goes.
 
Well its mounted guys...I had some leupold rifleman high rings on it and it was too high...so i got some millet medium rings and its perfect...pics tell the story.

I got here a little late, I was in a similar boat a while ago, the Banners look to be a good value but another option I was looking at a Vortex Diamondback or the Diamondback HP

enjoy the new scope and I hope you get tightgroups
