Bushnell banner 6-18x50

I'm curious too. Was just looking at this as a potential scope for a Savage Mk II just for plinking at the range. Was debating between this or a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4-12x40 for roughly the same price. I've had the Banner 4-12x40 AO and the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40 in the past. The Nikon had better glass but the Banner had an adjustable objective which is handy when shooting at shorter ranges.

Hey was curious if anyone has any experience with the bushnell banner 6-18x50?

For 22's, I like the AO on the 4-12x40 Banner. For me, at feature makes it a better fit for rimfire rifles that are usually shot at 50m or so. The parallax in a regular rifle scope is set at 100m...

Cheers

You received very good info about the application of this optic as it works best on long range rim fire and entry level .223 rifles. Move up a few models in Bushnell, Vortex, Nikon or other similar styles and you will not regret the extra investment. Phil.

Thank you very much everyone!! I think I will wait and make a step up instead of possibly regretting it!! The rifle I would have been putting it on is my 22-250!
