Bushnell Canada

I sent in a 3200 elite 10x40 in May prepaid Canada Post. It would not adjust properly. They sent me an "Acknowledgement Card, Product Received 5/27/09" in the mail in June. The card had an e-mail address on it and a Lab Repair #. I was able to keep track of the progress online. I got the scope back from them prepaid Canada Post 2 weeks ago. I was kinda hoping for a new one but repaired is fine with me too.

Did anyone have to send money to Bushnell to pay for the shipping back of the scope? On their website it states that I'll have to send them $10 for return shipping but I forgot to put in a postal money order when I originally sent in the scope.

I paid for shipping mine it and got a replacement back in 6 weeks. I believe they paid for shipping it back.

Got a reply from Bushnell Canada!

Your scope was just entered into our system yesterday under our reference number 9637745. It is being replaced under warranty and you should receive your replacement within the next 10 business days or so.

Well according to my Repair Number:

Date Received: 10-28-2009

Model / SKU: 716244

Estimate: $0.00

Description: 6-24X40 BANNER M AO

Shipping & Handling: $10.00

Warranty Repair Y/N: Y

Amount Paid: $0.00

Serial Number: AS

Balance Due: $10.00

Repair Status: Replacement Item on Order

UPS Tracking Number: Not Available

So it states that my replacement is "On Order" whatever that means and that it looks like I owe them $10. So how do I pay them this $10? Do I owe them $10?

It states that "Warranty replacement repairs will be sent out at no charge and you will receive no additional correspondence" and my last email stated that it was being replaced (not repaired).

Ten dollars for a new scope seems like a small price to pay to me?

Especially since I paid $120 for the original Bushnell Banner 6-24 that was sent in.

But what I was saying above is that many people in this very threat stated that they were sent a scope without paying the $10 shipping fee. I was just stating that they are on Bushnell records for that $10, might come up if they ever need to send something in for warranty work. :D

It's nice to hear they treated you well.

Well I wouldn't say "well" just yet. First email stated Id have my new scope in 10 days. 2 weeks later I emailed them again and got another email saying 10 days from the date of that email. But at least they are in communication with me. :D
