Bushnell Elite 2-6x32 Handgun as scout scope?

As the title says, I want to use the above scope on a CZ 858 in a scout scope configuration because I'm either cheap or concerned about value for money. Now, the eye relief for the above scope is 20" and I believe the distance between where the scope would end and where I place my cheek on the stock is 16". Since I really don't know much about scopes, would this discrepancy cause this set up to not function as I intend?

Yea it will not be comfortable. I ran this scope in the scout config on a Mosin Nagant for a while. Decent scope but you really want a purpose built scout scope on the 858. Also I was never really happy with the scout scope concept. A quality red dot seems much faster and easier to use to me.
