Bushnell Elite 3200 or Burris Fullfield II

Of the two scope listed above which would you opt for and why would you choose it?
Im looking to top a hunting rifle with one of the two and like the 3200 but have heard the Burris are decent and have the Ballistic plex which sounds like a bonus.

I have a Burris with the Ballistic Plex and it's nice, but If I had to start over I'd get the Bushnell Elite 4200 with mildot instead. Much better.

Hmmm.....what about the Bushnell 4200 vs the Burris Fullfield II ?

4200. I'd say the Fullfield is in the VX-2 quality range, or somewhat above the 3200 series but not quite a 4200

Even just from a warranty point of view, and weight, the Burris , IMHO is a better scope...having owned both, I think it is a better scope.

Well, the Fullfield IS a terrific scope, and probably offers the most value in terms of what you get vs. what you pay.

It costs about the same as a Leupold Rifleman, and performs nearly as good as a VX-3 if not as good

I have gotten good deals.
Seems burris is off the radar screen and does not get the same attention.

I have a both the Fullfield ll and a 4200, the 4200 is nicer optics. I also had a 3200 and I would say its closer to the fullfield ll.

I'd say the burris is the better scope. I just don't the whole eye piece movement thing myself. No real reason. It just didn't appeal to me. Mind you. You can get a 4200 3x9x40 for about $330 they are very nice.

I've owned several 3200's and wouldn't waste my money on another one. I had nothing but problems with them, and when you do send them in for repair be prepared for a long wait. I've sold all of them and replaced most with Fullfield II's and as of yet have not had one issue with them. As far as I'm conserned the burris is a far superior product!

I have 2 Burris FFII's. One a 3-9x40 and one 4.5-14x42 w/ OA. I am very happy with both of them and the ballistic plex is a great and easy to use feature,the rotating eyepiece is one downfall but it really does bother me now that I am used to it. I did have to send the 3-9 in for a warranty issue but it was returned as good as new within two weeks. Both were bought on ebay for a great deal less than regular retail pricing. I don't think you can go wrong with Burris.

I am wondering about the bushnell scope as well. The Bonus is the rainguard. Anybody want to coment on that feature.
