I am looking at doing some F_Class, but I still want something with Mil dots. Will I be happy with the Bushnell elite 4200. I have friend who is into this type of shotting and told me that I would be better off with a fixed high power riflle scope. I thought well that is great for competition. But it is a little difficult to hunt with a 36 power scope. Two scopes is too much for my budget. So will I be happy with the scope.

I just picked one up and I am quite pleased with it.Very clear and well constructed. I did notice that the 4200 is quite a bit heavier than the 3200.

The other thing with these scopes (I have three of the B&L versions) is that they don't have a lot of "come-ups". They are 1/8" clicks, and once you get out around 600 meters or so, you run out of adjustment. You can get around this with a tapered base or Burris insert rings, but it does add to the cost. Good scopes overall though. - dan
