Bushnell Elite 4500 or Engage?

I have a set of warn qd rings in 30mm i don’t use at the moment if you want them until yours show up!

The scope is here and the eye relief is amazing! Everyone I show it to says the same.

Only problem is it came with one inch rings instead of 30mm. Called Bushnell and they are sending the correct rings this week.

Stay tuned,
Ted

Still made in japan?

Elite 4500 is made in South Korea now. But still high quality and precise tolerances. If it was made in Japan the price would be double and the quality difference probably negligible in such a simple 4x capped duplex scope.
I have my 1-4X mounted on a lightweight .375 Ruger rifle and it just shrugs off the 60 ft/lbs of recoil like it's a .22LR. If I didn't already have 2+ scopes for every rifle I own I'd get the 2.5-10x40mm also.

Well the 30 mm Grand Slam rings are here. Mounted the scope on a Rem 783 in 300 Win Mag.

The eye relief is a tad over four inches, scope is heavy, rifle is heavy, going to be a pussycat to shoot.

Will get back with range report next week sometime.

The arken EPL4 has better ED glass, better field of view, illumination reticle (basic one but functional), exposed elevation turrets, parallax/focus for crisper image

Well, it has been a lot longer than next week, however the short report is the scope is everything that I expected, especially the eye relief. Not a chance of getting tagged with the ocular lens. Of course the heavy scope on a relatively heavy rifle really toned the recoil down.

Bright, sharp optics, to the very edge of the field of view, and easy to use adjustments make it a winner for me. :)

Will keep you posted as we take it afield to find out how tough it is.
