Bushnell Elite E3940

Hi: I sent a new 3x9x40 Elite 4200 for warranty and they are replacing it with a Elite E3940. Anyone know anything about these new scopes? Dan

Hi, I'm not 100% sure about this but I've been led to believe that the new elite is very similar to the 4200, perhaps with new upgrades on the 4200 series glass, was playing with a 4200 a couple of days ago and the glass is actually pretty nice for the price I thought.

Bushnell no longer makes the Elite 3200 or Elite 4200 lines. Now their two upper lines are the Elite 6500 and the Elite (not including the Tactical lines). From everything I have read the Elite are very much on par with what was the Elite 4200, which would be why they are replacing 4200's with the Elite's when warranty issues arise.

The new Elites are essentialls the 4200s with a better gas filling.

It's an upgrade if anything. Latteral move at worst.
