I just bought another one, but the illuminated reticle model with the BTR-MIL reticle. I've been happy with them, the glass is VERY good - about the same as the old Elite 6500 glass was. Has the right features for a scope in this range and price point. turret parallax adjustment, first focal plane mil-dot reticle, 0.25 MOA click adjustment, target turrets and one-piece 30mm tube. The illuminated model is essentially the same as the non-illuminated model (which I assume is the one you are looking at since the illumination feature adds about $100 and they are usually found in the $800-900 range with illumination and $700-800 without).
As stated, depending on the ranges you are shooting at and the drop of the calibre, you might need a base or rings with some degree of MOA compensation if there is not enough adjustment in the elevation turret. I believe it comes with 70MOA of stock vertical adjustment.
