Bushnell Elite

oddly enough i just sent an email about this to bushnell yesterday, and they responded today with this:

"The 6500 turrets are of a proprietary design and cannot be modified to any other style of dial or target turret"

but i'm not sure if they understood that i want the turrets from the 6500 tactical attached to my 6500 with the push/pull so i replied asking them specifically about the 2 types that the 6500 uses.

it sounds like they thought i meant a different brand off turret or something.
 
I called Bushnell in the states by accident and they said send it in and theyll give me a new one with the tactical turrets for $70 difference, when i told them i was in Canada they said to call Canadian Bushnell and they should offer the same deal, havent gotten around to making the call yet
 
It is difficult to have custom work done on Bushnell scopes including changing reticles in Canada. From previous experience I would say it would be a waste of time trying to get this done. Phil.

Are you a Bushnell dealer as well?
 
Yes we are a full line Bushnell dealer and carry lots of their product in stock. We tried a few times to get reticles and knobs changed with negative results. Please don't see this as me knocking Bushnell as we know going in that this is not one of the things they are able to do while on the other hand Korth Group (Leupold Canada) is set up for not only warranty work but custom work as well. Phil.
