i have a ruger m77 .338 win mag that i would like to get a new scope for. i am interested in the bushnell elite riflescopes in a 4-12x 40mm. some elite models have the letters AO what does that translate out to. i will be using this gun for mostly hunting with a couple trips to the range every month. if anyone has any other suggestions that would be much appreciated.

i have one. no compliants. i have a 3x10x40 its works really nice with my 308. i mounted it on my rifle and i was on my way to sight it in and saw a coyote at about 200 yrds took a shot and got it in the jaw. pretty good just for mounting it. it has very small rectile bars, witch i liked. very clear view. bushnell will never let you down

Firstly,i have no problem with coyote hunting(i do it myself).I do however think that we owe it to every game animal we pursue to make sure we make a clean kill.Taking a crack at an animal on the way to sight in your rifle isn't very ethical and certainly not what huntings all about.Haven't tried tofue.Venison is pretty good though.id imaige if you were out thousands of dollars on livestock you wouldnt really have a soft spot for coyotes. or maybe just a diaper change would do
