Bushnell eyepiece stuck

Just brought home a new Bushnell Elite 2.5-10x40 and can't seem to adjust the eyepiece. It is the traditional design with locking ring. Instructions say no tools required, but she is as tight as a... well you know what I mean.

Anybody experience a similar problem?

You just brought home???
From a local sporting goods store?
Take it back and get them to undo it for you.
If they can't then they should exchange it for another?

This could very well be a lesson to us all here.
Open up the box and fiddle with it before you pay for it.
I now check spark plugs when I buy them.
Make sure the insulator isn't cracked or the electrode not bent.
Would be a good indicator the package was dropped.

Yeah, just a pita though driving back there. Thought maybe I was doing something wrong.


Update... They exchanged it although the first one they tried had the same problem, like they were tightened with a pipe wrench. All good.
