Please forgive me, as I already posted this question in the Optics Forum
; but there's just not nearly as much traffic there.
I've mounted a Bushnell Legend 1.75-4X32mm on my .308 Rem 760 pump, but I haven't tested this rig at the range yet. The scope is advertised as a shotgun/muzzle-loader scope and I believe it is set parallax-free at 50 yards. I intend to use this setup for deer in the northern Ontario bush where my longest ever shot has been 120 yards (most are between 30-70 yards). Need I worry about parallax if a shot out to 200 yards ever presents itself? At what distance might parallax become an issue from a hunting stand-point (not MOA)?
