Bushnell Legend 4.5-14X44 - Good Value?

My local CDN Tire has a floor model of this scope on sale for $297.49. Seems like a good deal when comparing to one of my local gun stores who wants $404.95.

Don't really need another scope but for the price it might be worth picking up.

Thoughts?

They are my favorite cheap scope. I have 4 of them on various rifles and they seem to be holding up well. They track good, nice clear glass and maintain zero well. I would buy it at $300 but the $400 to $450 other places are charging no thanks.
 
I had a Bushnell elite 2.5-16 and found that a bit hazy on the higher mag range. It was a $700 scope. Maybe the Legend will be better.
 
You mean 4.5-14 right?? I got one last year for $309 and thought that was a good deal when I saw what others wanted. Its on my 204 and I really like it. Found a new scope comparison when they were first upgraded and it got editors choice above a couple higher end scopes because of its value and some of the bells and whistles it has on it. I wanted a little extra magnification and didn't want to spend a bundle and its worked out well for me. Not to mention the $50 rebate bushnell offers from sept to dec each year saved me the shipping and taxes. 4.5 is a little higher than I like on the low end but to get a 2-16 or 3-15 your looking at a lot more $$.

I liked the older ones made in the Philippines, they were good scopes. These are made in China...not worth the money.

Is there any visual differences between the 2 ?

edit : i mean except the Made in Philippines or China engraving...
