Bushnell Legend vs 300WM ?

I already killed a WC Tasco in 15 shot do a Legend scope in 5x15 40AO will hold on top of a 7.5 lbs rifle in 300 win mag ?
 
i would go 3200 elete as min in the bushnell line or leup vx1. you never know how long cheaper glass will last. buy once not twice and save money.

I've had a Elite 3000 on a 300WM since 1997. 600rds from the 300 (and more from few other rifles) and I just sent it today for a refurb; no charge. Still holds zero perfectly but tracking is jumpy.

My Tasco WC piled up in 9 shots from the inline muzzeloader. That Bushnell Legend is a good line, you sould have no probs's
 
I had a Legend 2-7X32 on my slug gun, it easily handled 100+ rounds of 3" slugs. The only reason I took it off was I wanted a different reticle for the low light I normally see all my deer in. I would think it could handle a 300wm, but I do not know how it would compare in recoil force to a 3" slug gun??
 
I have the 5-15x40mm Bushnell Legend wih mildot reticle, and it's fantastic. It's on my Rem 700 SPS DM in .300 Win Mag.

I was worried about the same thing, but after doing some research there was no reason to not use it.
