bushnell legend

does anyone use a bushnell legend 3-9 40 on a ruger 10/ 22 ? I am a complete noob and am not sure if the parallax [100yds] will work well at around 50 yds this being a centre fire scope?

I use a sportsmen on my cooey it works from 25 yards out if that helps.

Not the best focus for 50 yards, if you do a lot of shooting....your eyes will pop out

Get the Legen 4-12x40 or 5-15x40 as these have adjustable objective. Phil.

I had a Legend 5-15x40AO on a 10/22 that has leaning up against the wall and fell over onto the carpet and was bent beyond being able to sight in after. No warranty and I pressed it by hand back into something that could be used. I thought it was kind of frail. Good glass for a gopher gun though.

The legend works just fine on my Savage 10FP in 223. With my eyes 300 is pretty much max.

thanx guys i guess i will stick to a scope made for a rimfire ,the legend 3-9/40 was on sale for 99$ thought it might work
